My passion is working with people to achieve movement goals, whether that be a pull up, someone's first ever 100kg squat, the ability to support themselves upside down or a chain of push up rolls. The body is capable of amazing things! I trained as a dancer for four years where I learned the importance of connecting the body, mind and movement to work as one. In order to achieve these movement goals a good foundation needs to be built and that is where I feel my place is as a personal trainer. Working alongside a client we can bring together a sustainable and progressive training plan with nutrition, posture and a positive way of thinking to develop a healthy lifestyle. This will all contribute to attaining the clients goals whether that be movement based, weight loss, muscle gain or strength and endurance based. I can provide challenging and interesting personal training sessions for all abilities and I take great joy in introducing people to weight training.
Alongside personal training I run my own company called Get Fit and Fly, through which I teach Aerial Silks, Pole Dance/Fitness and dance classes. As well as teaching I also enjoy performing and competing in national Pole Dance competitions. My own training is geared towards this so I have a great focus on maintaining flexibility alongside weight training.
