I wasn’t unfit. I ran 2 or 3 times a week and did yoga once a week, and was happy with my routine, but my hairdresser kept going on about this amazing gym she went to and so I eventually got so curious to find out what all the fuss was about and why she looked so good on it! I contacted the gym and went for my free trial and although I left with very shaky legs that day, I was hooked! I started to attend the group PT sessions regularly, and got to know all of the fabulous instructors – who are all different and challenge me in different ways. After attending regularly for 3 months I was so proud to show off my toned arms in my party dresses that Christmas! I felt so good that I bought my husband a block of classes for his Christmas and he started going too, and his physique has changed beyond belief! We have both dropped a size in trousers through just toning up. I wouldn’t have believed we could look and feel better in our forties than we ever have! Now the only problem we have is fighting over who is getting to go to the gym, while the other stays home with the children! Just as well then that Good Health and Fitness have over 30 classes a week to choose from…….That means there is plenty of choice for us to both go around our childcare duties! The special bonus for me is the social aspect of the gym. I have had a few great nights out with people I have met there, and have made a couple of really special friends in the process and I am really looking forward to attending the Rat Race in 2016 as part of the gym team. I am taking on a challenge I never thought I would tackle because of the camaraderie and support that GHF offers. I LOVE Good Health and Fitness – it has really enhanced my life. I would encourage everyone to try it.
