I joined GHF 8 months ago after using a Groupon voucher. I’d been doing the same thing for a while but not really focussing on anything in particular. Once I started I was hooked, and immediately joined up. GHF works for me because it motivates me. Keeping my weight at its present level is important, but the health implications are even more important for me. I have a really sedentary job, and so the classes at GHF are perfect for getting my heart rate going! I’ve used gyms in the past, but because they are so solitary I’ve found that I never looked forward to going, and so would make excuses to miss it. With GHF I find that I hate missing out on my classes. If I have something planned for the evening, I can go to an early morning class, so there’s something for every time of the day. Everyone is really friendly and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere. I thought I would struggle with my fitness but having other people doing the same thing at the same time actually encourages you to push yourself further.
